Mark Fernley

From an early age, something about nature spoke to Mark when at the age of 14 on a trip to the Everglades in Florida and instilled a lifelong interest.
Attaining runner-up in the international Wildlife Photographer of the year in 2007 with a moment captured in black and white of a Lion yawn – moved his career which has since been dedicated to wildlife photography working with conservation and research units around the globe.

Moving to Botswana with a conservation group studying the migration patterns of Elephants for four years.
Then on to Costa Rica working with sea turtles and other wildlife.
Currently in the lowland Peruvian Amazon rainforest in South America working with a range of Conservation agencies. This has ensured Mark has a wide variety of specialised skills and continues to promote wildlife conservation and awareness around the globe.

You can see more of Mark here and on the BioSphere channel with his regular footage and specialised informational items being shared with those of us who could not venture to such remote and wondrous places.
If you have always wanted to do something like this, Mark runs hands-on internships that enable you to gain experience and first hand knowledge while growing your portfolio, skills and techniques.
